WHO ARE WE??

Argon Denims Limited was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 13 July, 2006 under the Companies Act 1994 with a paid up capital of Tk. 0.40 million which was subsequently increased to Tk. 100 million in 2010. In
2011 the total paid-up capital increased to Tk. 300 million. It was converted into a Public Limited Company on 31 May, 2011. The IPO process was completed on 30 December, 2012 after holding the lottery and the total paid up
capital increased to Tk. 600 million at the end of 2012. After issuance of stock dividend total paid-up capital increase to Tk. 1,199.77 million at the year ended June 30, 2018.
The factory is situated at Sreepur in Gazipur district of Bangladesh. The commercial operations of the company started in March 2008 at a total project cost of Tk. 51.35 crore. The factory was set up with 36 looms along with

separate Warping, Sizing and Dyeing , Finishing unit. Company installed its own Power Generator and other necessary facilities. Subsequently 12 more air jet looms and separate Mercerizing units were added in 2010. In addition

54 sets and 9 sets new high speed Weaving Looms were added in 2012 and March 2015 respectively. At present the factory is equipped with 111 looms, 1 set Warping, 1set Dyeing and 1set Finishing Machine, along with all neces-
sary utility facilities.

The factory produces high quality Fabrics in 100% Cotton, Cotton Stretch, Cotton Polyester and Cotton Polyester Stretch which are made in optics like Slub, Crosshatch, Mixed counts and Regular with various weaves like Plain,
Twill, Broken Twill and Herringbone. These are offered in different finishes like pre shrunk, flat, over-dyed and coated. Our dyeing line is equipped for Light and Dark Indigo, Sulphur Black, SBIT, IBST with casts and colors.
The Company mainly produces medium and premium range denim fabrics in various weights ranging from 4.5 oz to 13 oz. The present production capacity (RFD) is 18.38 million yards.
The fabrics produced at the factory are sold to different export oriented RMG factories through the nomination of ultimate foreign buyers of finished garments.
Advanced production equipment, strict quality control systems, robust sample development capability and well established design and marketing network contribute to our growing reputation in this industry. More and more
branded enterprises appear in our customer’s list.
